On September 13, 2025, under reservation number 9722025572, we rented a car from Sixt at Sarajevo Airport. On September 15, 2025, we returned the vehicle without any damage or missing fuel, with a full tank, and the handover process was completed smoothly. However, the €500 deposit charged to our credit card has still not been refunded.
At the time of return, we were informed that the deposit would be released within 10 business days, but that period has long passed, and no refund has been made. When we contacted Sixt customer service, we were told to reach out to the Sarajevo Airport branch directly, and no further assistance was provided. We also sent multiple emails to the branch, but have not received any response.
We request that our €500 deposit be refunded immediately and that our inconvenience be properly addressed. This lack of communication and delayed refund from a major company like Sixt is unacceptable, and we expect a prompt and professional resolution.
