Aramex Delivered My Order With No Item Inside — What To Do
On November 17, 2025, my package with tracking number 2316094082, shipped from abroad via Aramex, was delivered to my address in Istanbul. When I opened the package, I discovered that the USB cable I had ordered was missing—the package was completely empty. The outer packaging had been opened during customs inspection and re-taped by the carrier. The product’s own packaging had also been opened, and it was delivered to me empty.
I strongly suspect that someone within Aramex—either at the warehouse or during distribution—took possession of my product, or that a serious case of misconduct occurred during the process. Amazon US’s “no-questions-asked” refund policy unfortunately encourages irresponsible behavior by some carriers like Aramex, making it easier for customer items to be “lost” or stolen. The responsibility for what happened lies with Aramex’s procedural failures and the negligence of its employees.
Additionally, the weight of the package is recorded at every stage of shipping, and the package I received weighed even less than half of the weight Amazon had listed. This clearly indicates that Aramex was either aware of the issue or, even worse, acted with complete negligence.
When I contacted Aramex customer service, I was given a vague response stating that an investigation would take 10–15 business days. I paid $52 for the product using my credit card, and the seller is Amazon.
I request an urgent resolution to this issue and full reimbursement for my loss. I also advise international shoppers that if their shipment is assigned to Aramex, it is better to cancel the order and request a different carrier.
