Wrong Product Sent And Lack Of Communication With Amazon
I ordered the product “Pro Plan Kitten Turkey Wet Food 85 g X 10 pack” via Amazon on 3 February 2026, relying on the information and description under the product image, where it was specifically stated that the food was in pate, i.e. minced form. My order was delivered on 4 February 2026 at around 13:45 in Istanbul, Turkey. However, on the package of the product I received, it was clearly written that the food is in chunks. Since my kitten is still very small, it cannot consume chunky food and this product is therefore unusable for me. Following this, I tried all the return and exchange steps on Amazon. I attempted to proceed through the “Start a return” section, requested a product exchange and tried to reach customer service. However, I encountered a notice in the system stating that returns or exchanges are not accepted for this product, and I could not reach customer service either by e‑mail or by phone. Because the communication channels were closed, I feel completely left alone with this problem. My order number is 402-9350414-0410740 and I paid a total of ₺299.00 for the product. Since the information on the product page and the actual content of the delivered product do not match, I believe this grievance arose without any fault on my side. I request that Amazon contact me promptly regarding this order, for which incorrect information was provided, and either replace the item with the correct pate form as advertised or accept my return without any issues and refund the full amount I paid.
