Amazon Held My Order Then Canceled İt
I purchased a pair of Columbia pants from Amazon on August 8, 2024 (Order No: 407-6601647-2616331). Usually, I get orders from different countries within 15 days, but this time, the product wasn't even shipped by August 16. Typically, shipments to the US clear customs within 10 days at the latest. Today, my order from Amazon got canceled, supposedly due to a customs change. However, it seems evident that they just failed to ship the product on schedule and used this as a convenient excuse. It's really annoying because the color I wanted is not available in Turkey, and the other colors are being sold at double the price. It is unacceptable for a company of Amazon's size to cancel an order because they failed to ship it themselves. Adding insult to injury, due to Amazon canceling the order themselves, I find myself unable to reach out to customer service for assistance. I kindly request compensation for this unfortunate loss. Given the current policies in place, I have decided not to make any future purchases from Amazon. It would be greatly appreciated if you could reconsider your current approach and go back to the customer-friendly policies you once had.
