Amazon Delayed My Refund After I Canceled an International Order

On December 22, 2024, I purchased a product from Amazon Turkey for ₺509.02, including taxes (order no: 408-7745315-6836319). The product was shipped from abroad, arriving in the country within three days, but I canceled it the next day while it was still in transit, opting not to accept the package from Hepsijet. Despite Amazon customer service assuring me the cancellation would be handled, the product was still sent for delivery, forcing me to cancel it myself. I paid taxes worth half the product's price and, despite the cancellation, have yet to receive my refund. I’ve repeatedly contacted customer service, only to hear the same empty promises: “You’ll be informed via email today; don’t worry, you’ll receive your refund.” How can it take so long for the product to return to the warehouse when it took only four days to reach me? Adding to the frustration, the seller shipped the product immediately after responding to my inquiry, leaving no time to address my mistake. This lack of efficiency and accountability has left me chasing my money for an error that wasn’t entirely mine. Enough is enough—process my refund immediately!
