Amazon Approved Refund Was Supposed to Arrive Weeks Ago!!
I would like to bring to your attention that, despite the approval of my return request for the purchase I made on November 14, 2023, with Order No: 405-4288505-505****, the promised refund within 7-10 days has not been processed. In my conversations with customer service, I was informed that the refund was initiated by Amazon Turkey on December 14-15. However, as of the specified dates, I have not received any refund. Upon conducting a detailed investigation at the bank branch on December 21, it was discovered that there was a return initiated by Amazon Turkey on December 10, which was subsequently canceled by Amazon Turkey. In discussions with Amazon customer representatives, when I checked the refund process mentioned for December 14-15, it was observed that there was no such transaction in the bank's pool/provision. All transactions related to the card and any pending refunds in the pool were thoroughly checked until December 21, and no transactions were recorded. In my final conversation on December 21, a customer service representative created a request for an investigation and manual processing of the refund. However, there has been no response within the expected 72 hours, and this situation is causing inconvenience for me. Due to the lack of action taken by Amazon Turkey to resolve the issue, I find myself compelled to write here. There are numerous complaints similar to the one I have experienced with Amazon Turkey, and the customer representatives do not exhibit the same level of service as those from Amazon US. It seems that there are widespread complaints about the service provided by Amazon in Turkey. The customer representatives are not up to the standards set by Amazon in the United States.
The 29th day has passed without a refund, and it is apparent that no tangible action has been taken. During conversations with customer representatives, they keep stalling by saying, "Wait for X days, your refund will be processed." Despite my discussions with the bank, there are still customer representatives who email me saying, "Your refund was processed on December 14." All the Customer Service representatives try to placate me by saying, "You are right, I understand your problem, you can take legal action." I have been financially and emotionally exhausted during this process. On January 8, during my conversation with the payment center, I was told, "We will contact you tomorrow," but no one reached out to me. I managed to contact the payment center on my own and spoke with Mr. Ç**. He said he would follow up on the issue and get in touch the next day. If the refund is not processed by January 15, I will report the matter to the Turkish Republic Prosecutor's Office, citing the failure to process the refund within the specified legal period, the loss of value, the interest accruing on my card because I will not pay the statement, the drop in my credit score due to the fact that my credit card debt will not be fully paid off because of the related product, and the unavailability of the related product in stock. I have already applied to the Consumer Court and filed a dispute through my bank. In the email from my bank, it was stated that they would contact the opposing company for a reverse chargeback. However, Amazon has not yet responded to that either.
