Amazon Canceled My Cheaper Columbia Jacket Order but not The Expensive One
On 01.08.2024, I purchased a Columbia jacket worth ₺8,090.48 with order number 406-0841556-6801169. However, when I found the exact same jacket for ₺4,169.53, I immediately placed a new order for it on 09.08.2024. Although I wanted to cancel my first order, I couldn’t because it had already been shipped, and I planned to return it once it arrived. However, I received an email from Amazon: "We regret to inform you that your order has been canceled due to one or more items exceeding the customs value limit, which will decrease from 150 Euros to 30 Euros as of 21.08.2024, for goods that can be transported via postal or express shipping. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this situation." Both orders were placed after this date, so why was the cheaper order canceled and not the more expensive one? Despite waiting for a response, I was only told, "You will receive a response," but I still haven’t heard back. Customer service only tells me to reorder when the item is back in stock! Why am I paying an extra ₺3,920.95? I’m writing due to the frustration of not finding anyone to address this issue.
Hello, In response to my loss of 3,920.95 TL, Amazon has provided a refund of 1.83 TL, which feels like a joke... I observe a lot of comments and complaints every day, and I had heard that Amazon's responses were very good, but unfortunately, I experienced such an issue, and they deemed a refund of 1.83 TL appropriate :) I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
