Amazon Deliveries Left At Wrong Building
I am a resident at St. Luke’s apartment complex in Lakeland, Florida 33815, in building *, apartment B9**. For a long time we have been having problems with Amazon deliveries being left in the wrong place and sometimes taken by other people. The entrance intercom sticker with the Amazon delivery information has been ripped off the building, and since then drivers often do not come to the correct building or apartment. Some drivers leave packages by the leasing office at 915 instead of delivering them to the correct building and apartment, which creates confusion and makes it easier for packages to go missing. This situation is especially difficult for my friend who lives in apartment B1** and is handicapped. I have to look for her packages all the time because they are not reliably delivered to her door, which causes a lot of stress and inconvenience. The problem gets worse on weekends because the St. Luke’s leasing office is closed all day on Saturdays and Sundays, so when packages are left at the office instead of at the correct apartment, the owners cannot reach them and some people act irresponsibly and do not bother to bring the packages to the right recipient. My request from Amazon is that the delivery sticker or label for our building entrance and intercom be replaced, and that drivers be clearly instructed to leave packages at the correct building (A, B, or C) and correct apartment number inside St. Luke’s complex in Lakeland, FL 33815. I would like deliveries for B9**, B1** and all other apartments to be brought to the correct building and not left at the leasing office or other random locations.
