Airbnb Unauthorized Booking in Fethiye, Partial Refund Issued
On September 22, 2025, at 7:43 PM, a reservation was made in Fethiye through my Airbnb account (k***********@gmail.com) without my knowledge. When reviewing my credit card transactions, I noticed a charge of ₺6,028 and immediately canceled the reservation. However, after the cancellation, I was told that only ₺5,847 would be refunded, with no explanation given for the difference.
During this process, I tried reaching Airbnb customer service by phone but was unsuccessful. Before this incident, I had not noticed any suspicious activity or security breach on my account.
I expect a detailed explanation of how such a reservation could be made without my knowledge or consent. I also request clarification about the missing refund amount and a full reimbursement of the charged total. Furthermore, I ask that my account security be thoroughly reviewed and that the necessary measures be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.
