Agoda Reservation Issue – Room Given to Another Guest
Dear Agoda Customer Service, I am writing regarding my confirmed reservation with Agoda for Apartment Barcelona, from 13 July to 24 July 2025, under Reservation ID: 1622536031. Guest Name: Mustafa T*** After a long and exhausting journey from Northern Cyprus to Serbia, we arrived at the hotel only to be told that our room had been given to another guest who had booked through Booking.com. The hotel refused to honor our confirmed Agoda reservation and denied us accommodation. This situation is even more unacceptable considering that we had multiple conversations via WhatsApp with the hotel, through the contact number provided by Agoda, and we had received confirmation regarding our booking. We even sent our flight details in advance, and at no point were we informed of any problem. As a result, we were left stranded late at night and had to urgently find alternative accommodation far from the city center. This disrupted all our plans and caused us significant financial and emotional distress. It is extremely disappointing to experience such negligence through a global platform like Agoda. I kindly request an urgent explanation, compensation for the inconvenience caused, and assurance that necessary actions will be taken to prevent similar issues in the future. I am happy to provide all relevant documentation and screenshots of our WhatsApp conversations upon request.
