Aegean Airlines App Glitch Made Me Wrong Date Flight Ticket Purchase

On 23 May 2026, I purchased 2 tickets via the Aegean Airlines mobile application under the booking reference 8VFDRD for the route Corfu–Athens–Kefalonia. I selected 29 May as the travel date, but due to a glitch in the Aegean app, the system switched the date to 31 May and issued the tickets for 31 May instead of 29 May. During the purchase step, the application did not clearly show or confirm the flight details, such as date and destination, before I pressed the purchase button, which made it impossible to properly verify the information. After I noticed that the issued tickets were for 31 May, I immediately contacted Aegean Airlines customer service and clearly explained that I had selected 29 May and that the app had changed the date. Customer service informed me that no refund would be granted and that any change would only be possible for almost double the original price, which I find unacceptable given that the error was caused by the app. I paid approximately 15,000 Turkish Lira in total for these two tickets, and this amount is a serious burden on my finances for a journey on a date I never intended to book and do not plan to use. I believe this situation is unfair and misleading, and I am worried that other passengers may also be becoming victims of the same app issue. I kindly request that Aegean Airlines urgently correct this situation by either providing a full refund of the approximately 15,000 Turkish Lira I paid, or by offering a free date change of both tickets in booking 8VFDRD to 29 May, which was the date I originally selected in the app. I ask for this to be resolved as soon as possible because I will not be flying on the date that the system wrongly issued.
