I Missed My Aegean Airlines Flight Due to Lack of Support

On April 4, 2025, we were scheduled to fly from Athens to Istanbul. Unfortunately, we got lost trying to reach the airport and also experienced issues with our luggage. As a result, we missed our flight. According to Aegean Airlines’ stated policies, passengers in distress are advised to “get in touch with us,” so we attempted to contact the airline. But there was no working phone number available, and the only functioning method of communication was through an email form that provided no real-time assistance.
We were only an hour away from the airport but didn’t want to risk showing up late and being denied boarding. Left without proper guidance, we had no choice but to stay an extra night and purchase new tickets at an inflated price of ₺6,400 per person, while our original round-trip tickets had cost us only ₺5,400 in total.
When we went to the airport the following day to explain the situation in person, we were met with indifference. Aegean Airlines staff offered us a measly €7 refund per person, which still hasn't even been issued. This is absolutely unacceptable.
