Adidas Samba Shoes Logo Faded After 2 Wears! Denied Exchange
On March 30, 2024, I got Adidas Samba shoes at the Adidas store in Ankara Gordion Mall. Within three days of wearing them twice, the Adidas logo faded away. Concerned, I contacted customer service on April 2, 2024. They said it was the signature model and that such an issue could not have occurred after only two uses, and advised me to return it to the store for inspection. The next day, April 3, 2024, I went to the store and explained the problem. They accepted the sneakers and promised to respond within 20 days. After a month, on May 2, 2024, after not hearing back, I contacted customer support again. They claimed the problem arose because I wore the shoes with the laces tied, and rejected my exchange request as a user error. They suggested getting the sneakers from the store. However, the store denied owning them. To conclude, after wearing the Adidas Samba shoes twice in three days, the logos on the inside faded. Customer service assumed user error despite a lack of evidence. Furthermore, the alleged returned sneakers are nowhere to be discovered. Throughout the process, I observed a lack of accountability between Adidas retailers and the business itself. I'm tired of the blame game between customer service and retailers. The corporation clearly does not stand behind its products, with a system that moves clients like tennis balls between storefronts and headquarters.
