A receipt is an official record confirming the transfer of something valuable from one party to another. Usually issued by the seller to the buyer, it serves as evidence of a purchase transaction.
All sellers and stores require some sort of proof of purchase when customers wish to return/refund or exchange specific items. Yet, if you lack a receipt, consider initiating the return immediately after you decide to do so or within 30 days maximum. In this case, the store will try to locate your purchase in its database. Most importantly they’ll require date and time information regarding your purchase along with your personal details. Therefore, make sure you provide them with the details of your debit or credit card registry.
