Servisingelsin.com Took My $56 Deposit and Stole My Whirlpool Control Board
I submitted a service request for my Whirlpool refrigerator through the Servisingelsin.com website. The technician who arrived claimed that the refrigerator's main control board was defective and demanded $389 for the repair, taking a $56 deposit as an advance payment for replacing the board.
The technician removed my refrigerator's control board and took it away, later returning to reinstall the supposedly repaired part. Although my brother was nearby and asked him to wait five minutes, the technician suddenly fled the house and ignored my calls for days. When I finally reached him four days later and asked him to return my original control board, he threatened to forfeit my deposit and subjected me to verbal abuse and profanity.
When I reported this behavior to Servisingelsin.com, the company offered no solution, refund, or action to address my hardship. I am left with a completely non-functional refrigerator because my control board was stolen, and my $56 deposit has not been returned.
I demand the immediate return of my refrigerator's control board in good working order, a full refund of my $56 deposit, and formal disciplinary action against the technician involved.
