Weewell WHC650 Failed In Two Days - Trendyol Delayed Return And Denied Refund
I purchased a Weewell WHC650 Ultrasonic Top-Fill Steam Machine via Trendyol, and only two days after receiving it the device stopped working and started giving an error. When I contacted Trendyol about this problem, I was told to get in touch directly with the service center. I stated that I did not want to deal with service procedures for a product that was only two days old and that the company should stand behind the product, but Trendyol did not support me on this issue and I returned the product. Without informing me, Trendyol sent the product to the service and, in my opinion, deliberately kept it there for 20 business days before informing me, so that my 15‑day legal right of return would expire. The service tried to call me after 20 days, but since I considered Trendyol to be my counterpart in this purchase, I did not answer the calls from the service. About a month later, Trendyol sent the device back to me along with the service report. In the report it was written that the device had been exposed to excessive water, that the board was burned, that it was not covered by the warranty, and that it needed to be replaced for a fee of ₺1,085. I bought the product for ₺1,238, and it is not acceptable that they are now demanding almost the same amount again. Moreover, the function of this device is to turn the water we put inside into cold steam and release it; the justification of “excessive exposure to water” for such a device is, in my opinion, completely illogical. As a result, I have a product that did not work properly for even three days and I feel that my legal right of return was rendered meaningless by the way the process was handled. I feel deceived and victimized. I request that Weewell take responsibility for this process and that the full price I paid for the Weewell WHC650 Ultrasonic Top-Fill Steam Machine be refunded to me without any deduction.
