Volvo XC40 Service Disappointment
I bought a Volvo XC40 from abroad, and I regret it deeply. Previously, I couldn't reach customer service for a motor number registration, and they were unhelpful. Later, I learned from another Volvo user that the motor number is written under the right front seat. Now, living in Turkey, I had to get the periodic service maintenance done in Ankara, which brought me even more regret. Without informing me beforehand, they performed a software update during the service. When I mentioned I couldn't use the remote vehicle access app, the service representatives brushed it off, saying the app can only be used abroad due to Turkish regulations, not something related to us. Why didn't you tell me this from the beginning? I wouldn't have requested the software update, and I might not have opted for the periodic maintenance if I knew this feature was crucial for me. Additionally, they charged me for an engine wash and protection service that they didn't actually perform. From this, I understand the service's sole purpose is to make money. They inflate invoices, don't inform customers, and a service that can't even provide a motor number shouldn't call itself a country representative of a global company. If you ask me for the result of all this writing, I regret buying a Volvo. I regret going to Volvo service in Turkey. I will sell my car as soon as possible and buy a vehicle from another brand.
