Vivavideo Free Trial Charged Me $53 With No Consent
On November 29, 2025, I started a 3-day free trial subscription for an app called Vivavideo through the App Store. Although the app clearly stated that no charges would be applied during the free trial period, on that same day without any confirmation screen or additional notice, a $53 charge was added to my phone bill.
Even though I canceled my subscription before the free trial period ended, the amount of $53 still appears on my November 29, 2025 bill as an unjustified charge. I contacted Apple Support, and I want to emphasize that Apple clearly indicated the party responsible for the problem and for not providing any support for my complaint is Vivavideo.
This charge applied during the free trial period is contrary to both the law and Consumer Rights. Therefore, I request that the $53 wrongful charge that was applied to my bill during the free trial period be completely removed from my invoice and that this wrongful billing be immediately stopped.
