Vivavideo Didn’t Honor Free Trial — $53 Billed Without Notice
On January 10, 2026, I started the 3-day free trial subscription for an app called Vivavideo on my iPhone through the App Store. Even though the app clearly stated that there would be no charges during the free trial period, on the very same day, without any additional confirmation screen, warning, or notification of any kind, a $53 charge was added to my Turkcell bill.
Charging such a high amount for a service I only used for trial purposes — especially after promising it would be free — is clearly unfair and misleading. When I reached out to Apple Support about the issue, they specifically stated that Vivavideo is the party responsible for the problem and that they did not resolve my complaint. Despite that, Vivavideo has offered no solution to date and has done nothing to remedy my situation.
I absolutely do not accept the $53 charge that was added to my account while the free trial was still active. Because this practice is contrary to both the law and consumer rights, I demand that the unjust $53 charge on my January 10, 2026 bill be canceled immediately and completely removed from my invoice, and that this wrongful billing be stopped at once. If this issue is not resolved, I will pursue my case with the Consumer Arbitration Board and all necessary official authorities.
