I purchased a Viomi robot vacuum on June 15, 2023, and from the very first day, it has caused nothing but problems. The device repeatedly breaks down and has never worked reliably. Soon after purchase, it began spinning in circles and showing a “wheel error” message before stopping completely. On December 17, 2023, I sent it to service for the first time.
Unfortunately, the same issue returned on October 15, 2024, when it again spun in circles and had to be sent back for repair. Then, on December 4, 2024, the vacuum displayed another error: “wheel stuck.” It would not move forward when sensing obstacles, and instead of cleaning, it simply stood still. Even worse, it started collecting dirt inside the unit without properly cleaning it, making it both unhygienic and ineffective.
By May 30, 2025, a new problem emerged: the bottom brush kept falling off, and instead of vacuuming, the machine began spitting dirt back onto the floor. After the latest service attempt, the device was even returned to me still dirty inside, showing a complete lack of care.
In total, this product has been sent for service three times, and I was ultimately told “nothing else can be done.” Throughout this entire process, I have never been able to use the vacuum properly, leaving me extremely dissatisfied. I have all supporting documents for the service history and can provide them if needed.
Given the repeated breakdowns, poor performance, and lack of effective service, I am demanding, under consumer protection laws, either a full replacement of the product or a refund of my payment. A robot vacuum at this price point should not fail so consistently, and Viomi must take responsibility for this defective product.
