I purchased the Viomi V5 robot vacuum from MediaMarkt on December 18, 2022. Just two months after buying it, the device began having performance issues. I sent it to the service center, and they claimed a software update had been applied. But when I received it back, the exact same problem continued.
Due to personal circumstances, I wasn’t able to follow up right away. Eventually, on December 12, 2024, I sent the unit back in for repair. This time, the service report said “wheel replaced” and “filter needs changing.” But here’s the thing: the vacuum doesn’t even run, so how can you replace a part on a device that doesn’t power on or function properly?
Nothing was actually fixed. I’m still left with a vacuum that does not work, even after two separate repair attempts. The service team has provided no real solutions—just paperwork saying work was done, when clearly it wasn’t.
I demand a proper repair or a complete replacement. Viomi and MediaMarkt need to stop brushing off customers with empty service claims and actually resolve product defects. I paid for a working device—not this ongoing mess.
