Double Charge for UK Visa Appointment by VFS Global, No Refund Provided

96

I applied for a UK visa on December 9 and canceled my initial appointment. Despite this, a ₺480 courier fee was charged to my card. Thinking it might be a banking error, I contacted my bank, but they confirmed there was no mistake on their end. The bank even initiated a refund request for the duplicate charge.

I tried reaching VFS Global through their website and phone numbers, but the contact provided redirected me to unrelated services or unhelpful advice. I submitted a complaint, but communication is one-sided—I can’t respond to their emails. My bank statement clearly shows the double charge, and I have the email confirming my canceled appointment, but I can’t send these to VFS. They’ve closed my case without resolving it.

VFS Global, I demand my refund immediately. Do I need to pursue legal action to get this resolved?

I applied for a UK visa on December 9th. I canceled the first appointment, but the 480 TL courier fee for the canceled appointment was also charged to my card. I wrote my complaint here because you cannot be reached, and you replied, 'Thank you for reaching out to VFS, please email this address.' I also emailed the address you mentioned, but I received a response saying the file was closed again, yet the fee was not refunded. I did not use the courier service twice, but you charged me twice. I want a refund for the fee you took without any right.
