last October I extended the warranty on my Vaillant combi boiler, paid a fee to make sure it's covered until October 2022. I had no idea that a crazy earthquake was gonna hit on February 6, 2023 and freak everyone out. Seeking a fair resolution, I promptly contacted the company and requested a refund for the remaining 1 year and 6 months of the warranty period that I did not utilize. the company totally shut me down even though they know the earthquake messed things up for me. It's totally fair to ask for a refund for the part of the warranty you didn't use, especially since you didn't end up needing it because of unexpected stuff. I'm sure the company will get how important it is to keep customers happy and fix this quickly.
