Turkish Airlines Unfair Charges and Misguidance!

On June 14, 2023, around 10:30 a.m., I purchased a flexible round-trip ticket from Istanbul to Frankfurt for a relative. I realized I had entered the wrong date shortly after purchasing and immediately contacted Turkish Airlines (THY) customer service to report the error. They informed me that the ticket could be changed for a fee and that if they did, an additional service fee would be added, resulting in higher costs. They suggested I do it myself for less money online. Despite their advice, I ended up paying a price close to the ticket price. We, a group of individuals who were dissatisfied with THY's treatment, filed complaints around the 13th. The response we received that evening was hilarious. They stated that if a mistake is made, it should be reported without penalty (apparently via the complaint form). However, I had already called THY customer service as soon as I noticed the error and followed their instructions. The call records should confirm this. As a company with national pride, we have the right to expect at least goodwill and customer satisfaction. I have personally witnessed other companies providing assistance, even with minor changes, demonstrating their good intentions. I expect THY's customer service to reimburse me for the extra penalty amount I paid as a result of their error.
