Uber Eats Customer Service Sent Me on a Wild Goose Chase Instead of Fixing My Order

On June 3, 2026, at around 9:06 PM, I placed a waffle order from Pwb Waffle through Uber Eats. While placing the order, I accidentally selected my work address instead of my intended delivery location. As soon as I realized the mistake, I contacted customer service, explained the situation, and specifically asked that the order be dropped off at a Shell gas station approximately 500 meters from my workplace — a very short distance away.
Even though the order appeared as canceled in their system, I was told it had been delivered to my workplace. The customer service representative kept insisting I go to my workplace to pick it up. I went and checked — and there was no order anywhere to be found. In the end, I never received my food, no real solution was offered, and I was simply sent on a pointless errand.
My order number is 9592586505. I am requesting a full refund of the amount I paid, and if possible, for my order to be remade and delivered. I also ask that the communication and delivery details surrounding this incident be reviewed thoroughly, and that the necessary steps be taken to prevent other customers from going through the same experience.
