Regarding Anadolu Jet and THY Hatay flights. I bought tickets 20 days in advance for Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen - Hatay and Hatay - Sabiha Gokcen flights. Until the flight day from Hatay to Istanbul, I constantly called customer service because I learned from both passengers and airport staff that there were no flights.
Despite continuously calling THY customer service about the issue, they told me the flight was canceled due to weather conditions just 2 hours before the flight and made me take a 3-hour bus ride to Adana to catch a flight from there. They found a solution in their way, but they didn't consider that someone arriving there at night and needing to go to Izmit would incur additional costs and miss their commitments if they had any.
Similarly, they sent a message at the airport stating that the flight from Istanbul to Hatay was canceled due to weather conditions. I came from Izmit and needed to go to work, but my flight was canceled at the last minute. I found a ticket to Antep and planned to transfer to Hatay from there, but there was no information or support on how to get to Hatay from there. As a result, I paid for Hatay - Istanbul flights and expected them to direct me properly to my destination.
If they were late in informing me about the cancellation, they should have said, 'We will take you to such and such airport, you will fly from there if you have any grievances, they will be compensated, we have inconvenienced you, and most importantly, we have disrupted your valuable time and plans,' and apologized. But despite repeatedly telling customer service that there was no flight, which they also knew as airport representatives confirmed this.
They left me in a miserable state, and their solution was nothing but torment for people. Looking for a solution? Don't sell the ticket if there's no Hatay flight, it's only available for humanitarian aid, understand? Additionally, a flight can be canceled, but if it's a definite cancellation, you don't prolong it further. My complaint is that you did this.
