Turkish Airlines Wheelchair Assistance Issue at Istanbul Airport

My mother was born in 1940. As is well known, Istanbul Airport is very large. On 30/07/2023, she traveled from Izmir to Istanbul Airport with the 15:55 flight. Two days prior, I had requested a wheelchair. It was provided. My older brother and brother-in-law were supposed to meet my mother at Istanbul Airport. However, the wheelchair and THY staff left my mother at an elevator and said, 'Our duty ends here.' Despite my mother's plea, 'Please call my son from my phone and inform him where I am,' the disabled woman was left at the elevator. There was no place to sit and no one to help in this chaos. THY should inform us about the flight details of the person receiving wheelchair assistance. What is the justified, moral, honorable, or religious reason for abandoning a disabled person halfway? For God's sake, tell me. While our laws provide many rights to the disabled, who are you, THY, to abandon a disabled person at an elevator after disembarking from the plane? What law, book, or humanity does this fit into? Your managers who cannot handle this should apologize immediately. Explain how far you will take disabled passengers arriving at Istanbul Airport with your aircraft using escort vehicles. The whole world hears and sees your disgrace. Get your act together. Give the job to those who are competent. 'You are the obstacle,' know this.
