I Could Not Book a Table for Two at Legacy Ottoman Hotel While Larger Groups Were Accepted

When I contacted Legacy Ottoman Hotel to make a reservation, I initially requested a table for six to eight people. I was informed that there was availability and that accommodating this reservation would not be a problem.
However, when I mentioned that we also had an additional couple who wanted to join separately and requested a table for two, I was suddenly told that there were no tables available for two people. I found this response difficult to understand, especially considering that larger groups were apparently being accepted at the same time.
As a customer, I was not asking for any special treatment, discount, or complimentary service. We were fully prepared to pay for whatever food and beverages we ordered. The inconsistency between having space for larger groups but not being able to accommodate two additional paying guests was disappointing and left a negative impression.
Especially during the holy month of Ramadan, I believe businesses should make every effort to treat customers fairly and consistently. I respectfully request that Legacy Ottoman Hotel review its reservation practices and provide a clearer explanation regarding how availability is managed so that similar situations do not affect other guests in the future.
