Turkish Airlines Didn't Provide Wheelchair Assistance Properly
On November 28, 2023, at 15:05, we traveled from Muş to Istanbul Airport on flight TK2693. My sister, who has difficulty walking, was with me. Despite requesting assistance in Muş, no help was provided. Upon arriving at Istanbul Airport, the assistance service picked up my sister from the plane but handed her over to a female staff member with a wheelchair after reaching the terminal. I went to the exit gate to receive her. The female staff member and my sister were waiting in the wheelchair. I asked the staff member to help my sister to our car waiting at the gate. However, she refused, saying, 'It's not my duty, and we are not allowed to go to the gate,' and forcibly removed my sister from the wheelchair. Since we were also not allowed to enter, I had to hold my sister at the door to prevent her from falling. When I looked at the gate, I saw other staff members assisting other patients to their vehicles. The staff member who brought my sister left with an arrogant and unserious attitude, waving mockingly. I am filing a complaint against this staff member. I request an investigation and appropriate action. Reaching THY's complaint line is harder than reaching the US President. As a passenger, I cannot seek my rights.
