We have a round-trip flight with Turkish Airlines from Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) to Sharm El Sheikh (SPX). Today, I received a notification that our flight times have changed. Our outbound flight on 07.04.2024 at 22:25 has been updated to 07.04.2024 at 18:25. Our return flight on 12.04.2024 at 02:15 has been updated to 12.04.2024 at 20:35. The tickets were purchased for my spouse, two friends, and myself. Since we live in Ankara, we bought train tickets to Istanbul in line with this plan. We won't face any issues with the early train tickets; however, the bus schedules from SPX airport to our hotel in Sharm El Sheikh matched our original flight times, and we planned to start our hotel stay on the morning of 08.04.2024 after arriving by bus at night. Now, we have two problems: First, the bus schedule is not suitable; second, even if we find transportation, we will have to check into the hotel at night, incurring an extra night's charge. We have already booked and paid for our hotel stay from 08.04.2024 to 10.04.2024. For the return flight on 12.04.2024, our issues are as follows: We planned to take a bus from Sharm El Sheikh at midnight on 10.04.2024, arriving at SPX on 11.04.2024. After spending the day, we would catch our flight at 02:15 on 12.04.2024, reaching Istanbul at 05:40. We have a high-speed train ticket from Istanbul to Ankara at 11:19. With the new flight time, we need to change this train ticket, but there are no available seats. If we cancel the train ticket and buy a bus ticket, there is no cancellation fee, but we also can't find a bus ticket. Additionally, since our flight has been moved to the evening of 12.04.2024, we need accommodation for the night of 11.04.2024. This change forces us to pay for two more nights at the hotel and lose our return train ticket, as well as find alternative travel options. We cannot cancel our flight tickets because we have a non-refundable hotel reservation. When I contacted Turkish Airlines, I was told to either cancel or change my preference, with no compensation for our expenses and no solution provided. I request a resolution to this issue within the day.
