Turkish Airlines Flight Rescheduling Issue
We had a flight from Sharm El Sheikh to Istanbul on April 14 at 00:40. Turkish Airlines did not allow us to board the plane. They told us we could fly at the same time the next day. They mentioned that they would accommodate us in a hotel and provide a payment of €400. While accepting this offer, we specifically emphasized that we are government employees and need to be at work on Monday. They confirmed that our flight would be at the same time the next day.
However, today, four hours before the flight, we were informed at the hotel that we could not board the 00:40 flight and that we were rescheduled to the 04:30 flight. Despite indicating that we would be late for work and face issues, they did not resolve our problem. Our Istanbul-Adana flight was updated three times within five minutes, each time to a later hour. We deeply regret accepting this offer and could not communicate our issue to anyone. The promise made to us was not kept.
Turkish Airlines caused us distress with the promise of a €400 payment. They arbitrarily changed the timings of all our flights. They did not consider our special circumstances and only followed their schedule, causing us inconvenience. We understand and accept any adverse situation such as war, weather conditions, or mandatory human reasons. However, despite the flight being available and the plane departing, they did not allow us to board. PNR: rlqkgw PNR: uidhvq PNR: rh7ulk PNR: vgk4gw
