Turkish Airlines (THY) Baggage Issue with Samsonite Suitcase
Approximately three months ago, during my trip with Turkish Airlines (THY), my Samsonite suitcase was damaged. I filed a report at the airport and uploaded all necessary documents, including the Samsonite store report, to the relevant page on THY's website. However, for the past three months, THY has persistently offered only half of the amount stated in the report. I am unable to speak with an authorized person regarding this matter. When I call, I can only speak with personnel from the intermediary company to which the issue has been referred, and they do not provide a solution. THY has outsourced baggage issues to an intermediary firm, but they try to resolve the matter through negotiation, which is not fitting for a global company like THY. I requested a replacement Samsonite suitcase of equivalent value, but this was also denied. I would like to speak with an authorized representative from THY.
