Approximately 2 months ago, I purchased a plane ticket, with separate tickets for my wife and daughter. We selected our seats to sit together. Today, I received a message informing me that our seats have been changed. We understand this is likely due to an aircraft change, but the new seat assignments have separated us.
1) We deliberately chose the option to purchase seats together, but now we see that not only are we not sitting in the seats we paid for, but we are also forced to sit apart.
2) Additionally, the seats we originally chose in the front rows have been moved to row 13 if we want to sit together. This is far from satisfactory.
3) We were about to accept the move to row 13 when I learned that my seat change would be free, but my wife and daughter would be paid. This led us to halt the process.
In summary, we paid extra to select our seats, lost our original seats, are forced to sit apart, and were asked to pay more to sit together.
This nonsensical situation has caused us significant dissatisfaction.
I request that you review our grievance and rectify this absurd process. And most importantly, despite wanting to upload this message to the THY Complaint Line, the system's send button is not active...
