THY Overbooking Issue with Seat Assignments
As every year, I bought tickets for my children who are coming from abroad for vacation 3-4 months in advance and selected their seats. We have a single PNR and 3 passengers. Three days ago, when I checked, I found out that two of my children were assigned their seats, but my daughter was moved to a different seat (domestic transfer). I immediately called customer service to ask for the reason and to correct this mistake. I explained that we have 3 child passengers. They mockingly suggested that maybe the seat is faulty for the flight two weeks later and said they couldn't do anything about it. After some research, I found out that the real reason is overbooking, and now I can't find anyone to resolve the issue. Every year, we face the same problem with THY, and we can't find a solution. What kind of management is this? Let them send their own children like this and see how it feels. What kind of system and management is this? No responsible person to talk to, no solution. I hope someone with a sense of responsibility and authority will contact me. Shame on you, THY...
