Turkish Airlines Pet Reservation Cancellation Issue
On October 8, I purchased a ticket from Turkish Airlines for a flight from Istanbul to Skopje on October 20, 2023, at 07:25, specifying that I would be traveling with my pet (tdgbwt). I was informed that my pet's suitability would be checked and that I could pay the fee during check-in. On October 8, I received emails at 16:22 confirming my pet reservation and at 16:24 confirming my ticket. I also received a message on my phone from TK confirming my ticket purchase. Today, when I called to inquire about extra baggage, I learned that my pet reservation had been canceled and was advised to provide feedback. Upon checking my emails, I found an English email in my spam folder from October 11, stating that my pet reservation was canceled. Turkish Airlines, which sent emails and messages under the TK code when I made the ticket purchase, sent an English email as 'no-reply' that ended up in my spam folder, leaving me unaware of the situation. If I hadn't called today to inquire about extra baggage, I can't imagine the inconvenience I would face at the airport with my pet on the morning of the 20th. I urgently request Turkish Airlines to find a solution to this issue, compensate for the financial inconvenience I will face while changing my ticket, and resolve my problem promptly as I am moving my home to Macedonia.
