Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles Program Missing Miles Issue
I realized that Turkish Airlines' Miles & Smiles program is completely unreliable. I wanted to compare the current status of my miles by noting them periodically. On May 14, the required miles to upgrade from Classic to Classic Plus membership was 7,970. My ratio in Classic membership was 68%. Today, the required miles for Classic Plus is 10,201 and the ratio is 59%. I know that some miles may expire periodically. When I checked this, the system showed the message 'You have no miles expiring this year.' So, according to Turkish Airlines' own system, my miles should not be expiring, yet they are disappearing on their own. It's like pouring water into a leaky bucket. When I asked customer service about this issue, they responded with an automated reply saying there is no problem with my miles, dismissing my concern. When I asked them to send me a statement of the deducted miles, they didn't provide it. If my miles are being deducted due to expiration, why don't they appear on my mileage statement?
