Turkish Airlines Lost My Baby Stroller on Bremen-Istanbul Flight
On August 22, 2023, during my Bremen-Istanbul trip with Turkish Airlines, my 36-day-old baby's stroller was not delivered, causing me to spend hours at the lost and found department. While my baby was crying, I answered numerous questions and waited in the parking lot, incurring high costs. I had to carry my luggage and baby simultaneously. After countless emails and phone calls, I was directed to the payment department last week. Despite living in Germany, you asked for my IBAN number. The provided number was correct, but it was strange that you requested a Turkish account number. The notary fee for the power of attorney is higher than the amount you will pay. I urge your officials to either do their jobs properly or stop causing us so much inconvenience. This situation is not befitting of such an established company. I wish I had requested a baby stroller; at least if I had spent ₺25,000, my efforts would have been worth it. However, I didn't request it because I didn't find it ethical. As someone who can't be reimbursed ₺1,100, I spent my 35-day vacation seeking solutions, sending emails, and making phone calls. With my 37-day-old baby in my arms, I spent my time and money on taxis. I could write more, but unfortunately, even this much says a lot.
