New Cupra Terremar Plagued by Dashboard Noise and Peeling Exterior Trim

In January 2026, a trim noise began coming from the gap between the windshield and the dashboard of my brand-new Cupra Terremar, which I had picked up from the dealership. Consequently, I took my vehicle to the İzmir MBU service center on July 31, 2026. Shortly after work was performed to fix the trim noise, I noticed that the glossy chrome trim on both the left and right rear pillars had started peeling off.
When I brought the vehicle back to the service center, they informed me that the part was out of stock, needed to be ordered from abroad, and that I would have to wait. Despite nearly 10 days having passed, the part has still not arrived. In the meantime, as a temporary fix, the service center taped the chrome trim down and returned the car to me in this condition, forcing me to drive a brand-new vehicle I purchased for $79,400 held together with tape.
That a brand like Cupra lacks stock for such a basic component and delivers a vehicle to a customer with taped-on parts brings into question the value the brand places on its customers and service network. I expect my grievance to be resolved promptly, the relevant parts to be supplied as soon as possible and replaced flawlessly, and the company to extend the necessary attention and support regarding the inconvenience I have experienced.
