Turkish Airlines Incorrect Information on Ticket Changes

We had round-trip flight tickets from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport to Amsterdam for two people between December 29, 2023, and January 1, 2024. We called customer service to change the outbound ticket, but they informed us that no changes, refunds, or modifications could be made. As a result, we traveled to Amsterdam on a different date with another airline. Our return ticket from Amsterdam to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen on January 1, 2024, was put on hold because we did not use the outbound flight. To use this ticket, the customer representative stated that we could pay penalty fees and use it, and also mentioned that we had the right to make changes to our original ticket. Due to the incorrect information provided by the first customer representative, we had to purchase a new ticket for a different date for the outbound flight, and since we did not use the outbound ticket, our return ticket was put on hold. Consequently, we had to pay for both the ticket and the penalty fees. I urgently request that this serious inconvenience be resolved.

The company gave me a negative response. The company is responsible for this grievance of mine. Because of the customer representative, I had to buy both departure and return tickets. I want the phone records to be listened to. I want this grievance of mine to be resolved. Since we didn't use the departure ticket, it was put on hold, and there has been no response whatsoever. This is a serious grievance. We have seen the value given to passengers by a big company.

Because we were given incorrect information by the customer representative in two separate conversations, our four tickets for a round trip from Amsterdam to Istanbul were canceled! And we were not informed in any way; we realized that our tickets were suspended when we checked in ourselves a day before! We had to repurchase our seats on the same flight, which had become very expensive, and despite expressing our complaint, we have not yet received a response from Turkish Airlines (THY). Human labor should not be exploited so easily; THY, which makes decisions to cut and shape our hard-earned income over a month so simply and as they wish, should take responsibility. Otherwise, our belief in obtaining what is rightfully ours is strong, and we will involve judicial institutions from this point onward!
