Turkish Airlines Canceled My Flight and Isn't Resolving My Issue
My flight with Turkish Airlines for 3 people on July 9th, Istanbul 02:10 - Egypt Sharm El Sheikh 04:50 was canceled. All flights during these hours were canceled, and although it wasn't our fault, we accepted an earlier flight but are still facing issues. I paid extra to fly with Turkish Airlines to avoid such problems, but now they are telling me that they can either refund my flight or reschedule it 2 days later. I have already booked my hotel in Egypt. They are wasting 2 days of my time, and what about the money I paid for the hotel? They say there are seats available in the business cabin on July 8th, but they can't move us there. What they should do is resolve my issue without charging me extra by placing us in the available cabin on the July 8th flight. I'm not asking to be put in the business cabin, I just want my problem resolved. In short, I am being inconvenienced, and the ₺150,000 I paid for my vacation in Egypt is going to waste.
