Turkish Airlines Flight Check-in Issue and Denied Boarding

I bought tickets from THY with two friends to fly to Giresun airport. On the day of the flight, we arrived at the airport an hour early and tried to check-in at the self-service kiosk. The attendant informed us that there were no available seats on the plane. At this point, there were still about 50 minutes before the flight. The attendant suggested that sometimes the kiosks can be incorrect and advised us to check-in at the main counter. We went there with our cabin-sized luggage to avoid waiting in line and board the plane quickly. However, the main counter was quite far and had a long queue. By the time it was our turn, we were directed to another counter, but by then, there were only 42 minutes left before the flight. The counter clerk then said they could not process our check-in. When we objected, we were referred to another staff member for complaints. This staff member also told us we could not board and suggested we call customer service to file a complaint. A few days later, our complaint to customer service was resolved against us, and only the VAT fee was refunded to our account. Due to the necessity of travel, we had to rent a car and incurred much higher costs than anticipated. Our flight was delayed for more than half an hour with other passengers on board, but we were still not allowed to board. We were three people who were inconvenienced. We request THY to assist us and compensate for our losses.
