Hello, on Monday, December 11, 2023, after completing our check-in for the 20:30 Chicago-ORD flight, we boarded the plane. We waited on the plane for 2 hours without any information, and then we were evacuated to the gate area due to a malfunction. After waiting for about 2 hours in the gate area, we learned that the flight was canceled because the issue could not be resolved. There were long lines at the gate area to provide contact information. We then waited for about 1 hour in the baggage claim area. We arrived home around midnight, having gone to the airport at around 17:00. As if this wasn't enough, we had to wait for hours on the phone for Turkish Airlines to resolve a system issue to reschedule the flight for another day. Due to time losses and overbooking, we could only find a ticket for Wednesday. Our Tuesday was wasted. When we went to the airport on Wednesday, we faced another issue with the TK system's check-in problem, causing long queues. We waited for 3 hours and boarded the plane with a 1-2 hour delay. Due to this series of negative events, we demand compensation for our financial (extra trips to the airport) and emotional distress. Although we have filled out feedback forms on the system, we are still waiting for a response. Our TK feedback number is: 10136442.
