Turkish Airlines Elite Plus Member Paid Seat Issue

On 21.07.2024, I had a flight from Athens to Istanbul Airport. I am a THY Elite Plus member, which is part of the Star Alliance group. The flight was operated with a Boeing 777-300 aircraft. I paid ₺798 for an 'Emergency Exit Seat with Extra Legroom' due to my height of 1.93 meters. However, upon boarding the plane, I found that my seat was not the extra legroom seat I had purchased, but a regular narrow seat. Despite being an Elite Plus member, the 'Ground Services Unit' did not even bother to inform me about the seat change. Your company is almost a monopoly in Turkey, but I would like to remind you that you have a brand value to uphold. It is very likely that this complaint will not catch much attention from your company. Unfortunately, this is because we have no other option but to use your services.
