Turkish Airlines Demands Absurd Charges for Rescheduling New York - Istanbul Flight

I find it absolutely absurd that Turkish Airlines expects me to pay the same amount as a brand new ticket just to reschedule my flight from New York to Istanbul. The cost of a new one-way ticket for three people is ₺57,000. When I contacted the call center to change the date of my ticket, they requested a payment of ₺55,000. But what was the reason for placing my ticket on hold? I've already shelled out ₺60,000 for these tickets. I've reached out to the call center and provided feedback on multiple occasions, but unfortunately, I have yet to receive a response.
