Turkish Airlines Charged Additional Payment For Ticket Change
On November 4th, I contacted the Turkish Airlines call center to change my ticket. I requested a change for the flight on November 25th at 21:05 for each passenger on the ticket, keeping the same route. They informed me that there would be an additional payment of ₺901 per passenger. I accepted and made a payment of ₺2703 through the call center. However, after the transaction, I noticed that my child's ticket did not have a ticket number in the system. I reported this to Turkish Airlines. They informed me that it was a system error and that a ticket would be issued for an additional payment of ₺1300. This is absolutely unacceptable. If that were the case, I would not have accepted it. I agreed to pay ₺2703 for three passengers. I do not accept the additional payment they are asking for. The entire process was handled through the call center, and this can be verified by reviewing the call records. Based on their statements over the phone, I request that a ticket be issued after the review. Trying to charge an extra payment is not acceptable. Otherwise, I will exercise my legal rights. I have also submitted feedback to Turkish Airlines regarding the same issue.
