Turkish Airlines Baggage Damage Issue with Polo Suitcase
In March 2023, I traveled with Turkish Airlines. When I received my baggage, I noticed it was damaged. My Polo brand suitcase, valued at ₺1300, was reported damaged at the baggage support desk at Istanbul Airport, and I was informed that it could not be repaired and compensation would be provided. I was asked to create a claim through their website, and they mentioned they would include the report they wrote. One month after creating the claim, I received a response stating that a payment of ₺220 would be made. I did not accept this and requested a suitcase of equivalent value. After much effort, they offered a suitcase that was not equivalent, and I accepted it as I did not want to deal with it any longer. Despite months passing, my claim has not been updated, and the suitcase has not been sent. No payment has been made either. I do not plan to choose them again. They are not responsible.
