Turkish Airlines Damaged My Baggage but Didn’t Compensate It
I recently flew from Barcelona to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines, with a connecting flight to Samsun on August 12, 2023. When I arrived in Samsun, I was shocked to discover that my luggage had been severely damaged, with the wheels completely shattered. I immediately filed a report, and even though the 52 kg baggage did not arrive intact, they still delivered it. The next day, armed with all of the necessary paperwork for my new suitcase, I filed a claim with Turkish Airlines. It's now mid-November, and despite numerous urgent calls, there has still been no resolution. My suitcase is nowhere to be found, and I have a flight to Italy on November 26. I'm exhausted by Turkish Airlines' indifference and failure to address the problem they created. Flying with Turkish Airlines requires serious reconsideration, considering the lack of care and attention.
