Turkish Airlines Charges Me to Transfer My Own Miles
I tried to transfer 2,000 miles from my Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles account to another member, but when I attempted it through the Turkish Airlines mobile app, I was asked to pay a fee just to transfer my own miles. This service used to be free, and I was shocked to see that it now requires payment without any prior notice or announcement. Other airlines, like Pegasus, allow such transfers at no cost. Being forced to pay a fee to move the miles I have earned harms customer satisfaction and feels like an unreasonable policy. You are taking both my miles and my money. If I’m paying money, why are my miles also being deducted? What kind of logic is that? If I have to pay, then what’s the point of transferring miles? I kindly request that Turkish Airlines make mile transfers free of charge again.
