My Turkish Airlines Miles Were Stolen, and No Support Was Provided
I am shocked by how Turkish Airlines has handled the theft of my Miles & Smiles points. On December 21, I received an SMS at 9:58 PM with a code for redeeming miles. However, emails from Turkish Airlines showing two separate mileage transactions (3,077 miles each) arrived at 9:00 PM—nearly an hour before the SMS was sent. How is this even possible?
I reported the issue immediately and created feedback, but Turkish Airlines repeatedly blamed me, saying it was due to my personal email security. I’ve never redeemed miles in my life and don’t even know how to. When I contacted their IT department, they admitted there are many others like me who have been affected, yet feedback representatives dismissed my claims with automatic responses.
It’s deeply disappointing to see such a reputable company ignore loyal customers and leave them feeling helpless. I demand Turkish Airlines investigate and restore my stolen miles immediately.
