I booked a round-trip flight to Montenegro with Turkish Airlines (THY) and paid extra fees specifically to choose our seats. Despite this, THY changed our seats without any consent—placing us directly in front of the restroom on the outbound flight, and separating us entirely on the return. After filing a complaint and requesting a refund, we were deliberately delayed with false claims of missing information, despite providing everything required clearly from the start.
Eventually, they reluctantly issued a voucher for ₺531. But here's the catch: redeeming this voucher requires traveling to their airport office in person, which would cost me ₺550 round-trip plus half a day lost—more than the refund itself! It's absurd that in 2025, Turkish Airlines won't issue refunds directly to my credit card or via bank transfer.
